Application of DIN938 double stud
Double-ended stud is a cylindrical fastener with threads at both ends, used to connect the mechanical fixed link function, double-ended stud has threads at both ends, and the middle screw is a smooth rod, thick and thin.
The thread at both ends of the double stud, one end is used to tighten the nut, called fastening end, the other end must be all screw into the connected parts of the screw hole, called screw end. Both ends have chamfer, chamfer can reduce the resistance of stud and nut connection to a certain extent, so that it can be more smoothly screwed in.
Commonly used double stud has two kinds of thread, coarse teeth and fine teeth two kinds of thread, coarse teeth ordinary thread with M and nominal diameter, fine teeth ordinary thread with M and nominal diameter × pitch. The fastener standard stipulates that M36 bolts shall be threaded with coarse teeth, M36 and above diameters shall be threaded with fine teeth, and the pitch shall be 3.
Double stud thread is generally coarse ordinary thread, can also be used according to the need for fine tooth ordinary thread or transition fit thread. The washer of double stud connection can choose flat washer or spring washer to play the role of anti-loosening, and the length of the threaded connection can be adjusted according to the thickness of the connecting plate.
